Highlights of History: Letter:P Number: 18
Announcements: ****Wednesday–I have a mandatory meeting at 11:00 so I need to teach Wednesday classes from 9-11 am. I’m hoping this doesn’t mess everyone up. So put on your calendar Class starts on Wednesday just this once at 9:00 am. Thanks for your understanding!
4-5 year olds have a field trip on Thursday! We are going to the USU Anthropology Museum and this will fit very nicely with our theme of Highlights of History. Please be on time so we can load up and go. Have your child wear their t-shirt and bring a booster seat for the ride.
I have had some questions about tuition next year. All returning students and their siblings will receive the $5 loyal discount. Also if you have a t-shirt you only need to pay $25 for registration. Let me know if you have any other questions. I’ve updated the website and registration forms for next year. Let me know if you have trouble accessing them.
Homework Challenge: We have almost covered every letter in the alphabet this year. How is your child doing on retaining this info? This will you make an effort to point out different letters on the cereal box, in books your reading, any where you see them. Get an idea of how they are doing on letters. If they are struggling you might want to get some letters for the bathtub, the fridge, or blocks and do some Alphabet play. Once they can name the letter, can they say the sound it makes, can they think of words that begin with that letter, can they form a word using the letters?
