Animals in my World
The 4-5 year olds wrote a song about what they like to do with their family. Each of them thought of at least one thing they enjoy doing with you. They will get a kick out of hearing their song so I encourage you to play this for them and ask them what they contributed.

Announcements: I just want to thank you for your awesome children. They make my day. I love to see how much they are growing, and learning. Thank you for what you do at home to help them, you are amazing parents!!!
Homework Challenge: We are talking and singing about animals this week. Encourage them to tell you what they have learned about animals, or to sing you a song they have learned! Many of the students don’t have pets at home. So they may not get much exposure to animals. One way to give your children some exposure is to go to a pet store, the zoo, a Dog park (we have one in Logan by the railroad tracks that cross Highway 89, or visit a friend who has animals. Learning to care for, pet, and interact with animals is important at a young age. This can help them not feel anxious around animals as they get older. Learning about animals is also a very important educationally. I know baby animal days is coming soon at the American West Heritage Center. This is always a good way to see a variety of animals.
